This book aims to help medical students prepare for their surgical posting and surgical examinations. There are also some notes on surgical internship and surgery as a career. As a subject that is learned at the later stages of medical school training, the surgery course in medical schools prepares students for the transition from theoretical learning to clinical practice. Students who are slow to adapt will find it frustrating when they do not have the time to read and memorise things like what they were used to in the preclinical years. Students who adapt to this transition well will sail through their surgical and clinical postings. The purpose of this book is to guide students through this transition process.
