This Laboratory Manual: Physical and Organic Chemistry is a manual written by the instructors of chemistry subject in Tamhidi Centre, USIM; complementing the course book and lecture notes prepared for classes of Tamhidi Science Programmes which are Tamhidi of Medicine, Dentistry and Science (TPPS) and Tamhidi Physical Sciences and Technology (TSFT).
 
It consists of eight chapters that include the introduction to laboratory rules and usage of laboratory equipments. This manual is divided into two parts. The first part is physical chemistry consisting of experiment 1 (thermochemistry), experiment 2 (electrochemistry) and experiment 3(reaction rates).
 
The second part are experiment 4, 5, 6 and 7, which are the procedures to determine specific organic compounds, their chemical properties and reactions. It is important for students to use this manual in the laboratory, as the laboratory report were prepared from the manual itself, whereby the questions is going to help the students understand the topic learnt in lectures.
