Prof Dr. Zurina binti Shafii is a Professor of Accounting and Islamic finance at the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and a research fellow at USIM’s Islamic Finance and Wealth Management Institute (IFWMI).
 
She received her first degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and later obtained her master’s degree dan PhD both in Islamic Finance from Durham University, United Kingdom.
 
She was awarded ACCA Professional Level Certificate and a Certified Islamic Financial Planner.
 
Prof Dr. Zurina has authored 11 books and 29 chapters in a book, 58 journal articles in her area of expertise: Shariah Audit, Islamic Wealth Management, Islamic Accounting and Halal Management.
